CCPS Programs
Pratt Center for Continuing and Professional Studies
believes that learning is a lifelong process. We are dedicated to serving the educational needs of the community by providing quality, career-focused, educational and training programs in artistic, management, and technical fields. The Center provides excellent educational opportunities for students to achieve their professional and personal goals through communication technologies, individualized and special programs. CCPS is Pratt's dynamic link to the region's youth and adults, including alumni, and non-traditional learners and corporate communities.

Professional Studies
We provide professionals in their fields with training programs for the following purposes:

  • to update and upgrade skills;
    to maintain or obtain professional licensure;

  • to prepare for certification in the vocation of their choice;

  • to stimulate innovative ideas and projects;

  • to support potential collaboration among professionals and alumni through networking opportunities.

Programs include: Corporate Training, AIA, ATC, ATCME, and all Certificate Programs.

Credit Programs
Our credit programs foster academic advancement through educational credit programs that support college/university students and adults in their pursuance of their degrees. Programs include: PreCollege, Study Abroad, Summer Credit Intensives, and appropriate undergraduate and graduate degrees.

Pre-College
Pre-College Services provide educational guidance and support to middle and high school students through quality programs, to help explore various majors and to get prepared for successful admission into the colleges of their choice.

Programs include: Pre-College (Brooklyn: Summer; Manhattan: Fall, spring and summer); STEP (Science & Technology Entry Program; Brooklyn), and the Liberty Partnership Program (Brooklyn).

Continuing Education
We offer individual adults from all walks of life with a rich variety of stand-alone courses covering disciplines that are primarily within Pratt's areas of study, for the purposes of personal enrichment, career advancement; and academic advancement -- i.e., to help non-majors meet the admission requirements for Pratt's graduate programs.
